What we build
There is no generic version waiting to be filled in. We start from work that already exists — a family's assets, an archive, one researcher's published output — and we build around it the instrument of the person who works inside it every day.
The field observatories
A researcher's entire body of work in one picture, the maps of its themes, and every answer with its reference beside it. Built on published literature, in biomedical research.
How it is made →For scientific societies
What changes for an association that makes it available to its members, and how the figure we ask for is composed.
The proposal →White Sun SA
Who we are, where we are, how we work and what we do with the data entrusted to us.
The company →How we work
Made to measure, one person at a time
Everything we build starts from the real data of whoever will use it. We do not deliver a program you must adapt to: we deliver yours.
When we do not know, we say so
Our systems answer by citing the sources they actually hold. When they do not have them, they say so, instead of assembling a plausible answer.
What belongs to a person stays theirs
Every engagement lives separately from the others, behind its own access. This is not a promise: it is a condition an automated check re-verifies on every release.
We look at it before we deliver
Every page is opened and looked at across four screen widths, in light and dark, and printed. No work ships because "the checks are green".
The data of the people we work for
The information we build on remains the property of whoever entrusts it to us. We do not use it to train anything, it never enters anyone else's engagement, and we do not send it to third-party services unless that has been agreed in writing.
Where we handle sensitive information, it leaves our infrastructure only in anonymised form, through a filter that stops of its own accord when it meets something it has not recognised — because a filter that lets things through when in doubt is not a filter.
Every engagement sits behind its own access: no client's data can be reached from anyone else's work, and that separation is re-checked automatically on every release.
How access works
The services we host are reserved for the people and organisations they were built for: they are reached with a private address and a private password. If you need to reach one, you already have the address.
There is no sign-up and no free trial: every system begins with agreed work. If what you have in mind is new work, it begins by writing to us.
