What gamma97 is
gamma97 is the infrastructure our systems live on: the machines, the network and the safeguards that keep them standing, the place where each client's data stays separate from everyone else's. It is not a product you buy and not a service you sign up for.
Anyone using one of our systems reaches it at an address ending in `gamma97.com` — which is why, with the subdomain removed, you arrive here. The name of the company behind it is White Sun SA.
What we do
We build systems to measure for people who work with complex information: those who administer family assets, those who keep document archives that must remain searchable, those who do research and need command of the literature in their field.
The work always begins at the same point: the real data of whoever will use the system. We do not start from a product to be adapted, and we do not ask the people we build for to change the way they work in order to fit inside ours.
How we work
Few things, followed properly. We do not take on more engagements than we can look after over time. A system delivered and then abandoned is worth less than a system never built.
Everything we deliver is looked at. Pages are opened across four screen widths, in light and dark, and printed, before the recipient ever sees them. A green automated check is not proof that something is good: it is only proof that it is not broken.
We say what has not been measured. If we have not measured a number, we do not write it — not on a page, not in a proposal. It is the reason these pages carry fewer figures than we could put on them.
The data entrusted to us
We do not use it to train anything. The information of those who entrust us with work serves that work and nothing else.
It does not go to third parties without a written agreement. Where a piece of processing requires an external service, sensitive information leaves only in anonymised form, and the filter that recognises it stops of its own accord when in doubt instead of letting things through.
Every engagement is separate from the others. No client's data can be reached from another client's work. This is not a statement of intent: it is a condition an automated test re-checks on every release, and which blocks the release when it is not met.
Credentials never travel. No password passes through email or chat, in any circumstance and with anyone.
What we grant
We grant the use of the systems we build. How they are made inside — the code, the methods, the tooling — remains White Sun SA's.
It is the condition that lets us carry into every engagement what we have learned in the others, without anyone paying twice for the same thing.
