Write to us about anything concerning this notice, including the exercise of your rights.
For any matter concerning personal data, including the exercise of your rights: federica@gamma97.com.
Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For people located in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) also applies.
This site does not watch you
The pages of `gamma97.com` use no cookies, load no fonts, images or programs from third-party services, and contain no analytics or advertising of any kind. This is not a statement of intent: the page you are reading is served with a rule that forbids the browser any request to the outside, and the program that builds it refuses to publish it if so much as a single fragment of executable code appears in it.
What remains is what every server records in order to work: one line per request, with IP address, date and time, page requested and outcome. It serves to keep the service standing and to notice abuse; it is not used to identify a person or to build a profile. These lines are deleted after 90 days.
The network that carries this page to you belongs to Cloudflare, Inc., which processes the technical data of the connection as our supplier and which, by its nature, sees the IP address of anyone connecting.
If you write to us
When you send us an email we process the address, the content of the message and any attachments, for the sole purpose of replying and — if work follows from the contact — of managing it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering those who approach us and, thereafter, performance of the contract.
Mail addressed to `gamma97.com` is forwarded by Cloudflare to a mailbox operated by Google Ireland Limited. We keep it as long as the relationship is live, and in any case for as long as Swiss law requires us to retain business correspondence (ten years, art. 958f of the Code of Obligations).
The data inside the systems we build
For the private systems we build under commission, whoever entrusts them to us remains the controller of their own data and we act as processor on their behalf: on their instructions, under a written agreement, and not for purposes of our own.
Three rules apply here always, and they can be verified:
- we do not use anyone's data to train models, neither ours nor anyone
else's;
- every engagement lives separately from the others, behind its own access:
no client's data can be reached from another's work, and an automated test re-checks that condition on every release;
- where processing must leave our infrastructure, it **leaves in anonymised
form**, through a filter that stops of its own accord when it meets something it has not recognised — a filter that lets things through when in doubt is not a filter.
The data stays on our own machines, in Switzerland. Where an external service is needed, we say so beforehand, in writing, in the agreement with the client.
Your rights
Anyone may ask us what data we hold about them, obtain a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and ask for the data to be transferred elsewhere. We answer within thirty days, free of charge.
Anyone unsatisfied with our answer may turn to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Berne or — if located in the European Union — to the supervisory authority of their own country.
Security, and what to do if you find a hole
We keep data on machines we control, with personal accounts and encryption in transit. No system is impregnable: if you find a weakness in one of our pages or services, tell us — the address is above, and it is the same one you will find in `/.well-known/security.txt`. We will answer, and we will take no action against anyone who reports a problem in good faith and without harming anyone.
When this changes
If we change anything substantial, the date below changes. Earlier versions do not disappear: anyone who writes to us can ask for them.
This notice is in force from 15 August 2026.
